Brian is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the private club industry across Ohio, Florida (Delray Beach) and North Carolina (The Peninsula Club and Lake Hickory Country Club). His primary focus has always been providing exceptional service to members and guests. He is a 26-year PGA member and continually seeks ways to incorporate new technologies and ideas to improve operations. He is a graduate of the University of Akron, where he was a four-year member of the golf team. Brian believes in being visible and available to Members and staff. His leadership strategies include setting clear goals, supporting staff and providing them with the necessary tools to be successful.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Billy Desmond has always been guided by a strong faith and a commitment to serving others. His diverse professional journey reflects this dedication. Billy spent nearly a decade in Costa Rica, immersing himself in hotel and real estate development. There, he cultivated skills in sales, negotiation, and customer service, always emphasizing integrity and genuine connection. Upon returning to Miami, Billy answered the call to serve his community as a Firefighter/Paramedic of the Miami-Dade Fire Department, dedicating 18 years to protecting and assisting others. This experience honed his leadership, problem-solving, and crisis management abilities, all rooted in his unwavering faith. Parallel to his public service, Billy has been deeply involved in the fitness industry for over two decades as a personal trainer. His passion lies in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals, fostering both physical and spiritual well-being. Beyond his professional endeavors, Billy has been an active participant in various ministries at his local church, reflecting his commitment to faith and community service. Billy and his wife, Ana, are blessed with two sons. Their recent move to the area marks a new chapter, and Billy is enthusiastic about building meaningful relationships within the CCoC community. He is committed to serving the membership with warmth, excellence, and a heart aligned with faith-driven values

About Brittany

Brittany has been in the Catering and Events industry for six years, but her journey into the catering world began in an unexpected place—Chick-fil-A! From there, she discovered her passion for event planning, which led her to Vandelay Hospitality in Dallas, TX, where she served as the Director of Catering and Events for 2.5 years. After gaining invaluable experience, she made the exciting move to Charlotte, NC, and is thrilled to be joining the team here at the Country Club of the Carolinas.
